Outdoor Upcycling
Outdoor Upcycling. You'll get to see how easy it is to actually reuse your own or found items into outdoor decor, furniture, and whatnot. Then you'll have a chance to win an upcycled item in a random drawing, but you must be in attendance to win. So come and join in the fun and bring a friend!
Past Cooking/Kitchen Handouts.
Check out our knife skills and baking tips handouts. More archived handouts to come.
Eat Well, Pay Less
As moms we all want to serve our families the healthiest food we can, but sometimes it seems as if our budgets just won't cover the best food choices for our families. Join us in looking at how we can still eat well and also pay less at the grocery store.
Cures for Cabin Fever
We all know that warmer days with blue skies and sunshine won't really last the entire winter. Come and join us in hearing ways to also enjoy those days when you're trapped indoors.
DIY Celebration Banners
It's time for our first craft for our fall semester. It's cute. It's decorative. It's versatile. We'll be creating celebration banners similar to the ones found on this crafty little website.
Splash Pad SPECIAL rental
Please come join us for a special rental of the splash pad so we can have the place to ourselves (from 9-12). If you are able, please bring $3/kid (max of $6) so we might be able to do this again. If it's raining it's still on unless there's lightning. We look forward to seeing a lot of you there and seeing some new faces!
(due to this special event, the normal playgroup time on Friday, June 24, will not happen)
Splash Pad Playgroup
Come join us as we hang out in the sun and water at Karst Farm Park's Splash Pad. We meet Friday mornings for the summer from 9:30-11:30 during the public hours. The splash pad is a fun new kind of playground with water elements that are fun for all ages. We don't do anything structured; it's just a chance to hang out with other moms while our kids burn off lots of energy. So come join us and be sure to remember your sunscreen!

Directions:
From Highway 37, go west on Highway 45S (2nd St.). In 1.3 miles, turn right on Airport
Road, then take an almost immediate right on Endwright Road. The entrance to the Karst Farm Park is on your left. Go straight after turning in and then turn left on the gravel road following signs for the splash pad. It's towards the back of the park on your left.
Say Cheese: Tips From Kip May
Last week, Kip May shared a variety of tips and suggestions to improve our personal photography (expecially that of our crazy kids). If you missed out on this enjoyable and informative discussion, you can still have a copy of the notes that he brought to share with all of us.
Craft Inspirations
Come enjoy time with one another, relaxing, eating a wonderful brunch, and making a beautiful craft (but only if you feel like it!) We'll be making a whimsical garden birdfeeder to help convince us all that Spring is indeed almost here. We'll also bring back the addictive magnet craft from last year if you didn't get quite enough for yourself, or would like a few for a gift.
Here's a sneak peak of what we're going to be making, as made by www.jillruth.com. Ours won't be identical, but they'll still look great in your garden.
