Our Mission

BloomingMoms exists to support and equip mothers in and around Bloomington by fostering relationships through structured and casual times of fellowship, instruction and encouragement.

We hope that mothers can look forward to each BloomingMoms event as a time to relax and reconnect with other moms. It is our goal that the atmosphere of each BloomingMoms event be so welcoming that members look for opportunities to invite other moms in the community.

Our History

BloomingMoms was established by a group of women from ClearNote Church after having had a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) chapter for years. In 2009 we decided to go independent and establish our own program. After brainstorming improvements to our previous MOPS program, BloomingMoms was born.

Our Fundraiser

Since the beginning of BloomingMoms, we have had a commitment to keep our meetings free to attend. We did not want finances to be a hindrance keeping anyone from coming. We have a brunch, childcare (infants through homeschoolers), and some crafts, all of which are free! How do we do this? By starting Encores, a children's consignment sale. Check out the website for more info on selling at Encores, donating your used children's items directly to BloomingMoms for us to sell for you, and always make sure you come out to shop the sale!
